Cambio en Accion valora cada individuo como “capaz del cambio” y trabaja para apoyar a aquellas personas que estan dispuestas a trabajar en su propio cambio. Estamos para atender a las personas residentes en el Condado de Prince William y sus alrededores.

Thanks to the generous support of the Potomac Health Foundation, Change in Action now provides a Behavioral Management Program which includes 8 weekly sessions focused on the management of anger and stress, individual case management to enhance family communication and relationships, and up to 10 hours of individual neurofeedback therapy to help the brain readjust after trauma to healthier functioning.
Eighteen weekly sessions (2 hours each) provides adults with the skills necessary to manage anger and stress, develop healthy ways to disagree and resolve conflicts, improve communication in their relationships, and understand personal accountability. Sessions are interactive and engage all participants to practice skills and support each other as they work towards changes in thoughts, actions and beliefs.
Eight weekly sessions (2 hours each) provide teens (ages 12-18) with the knowledge and skills necessary to improve family communication, manage stress and anger, develop health relationships skills, learn to problem solve effectively, and identify goals and supports necessary to live a happier life. Program is presented in a small group format, which is interactive and enables teens to practice their skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Eight weekly sessions (2 hours each) focused on healthy ways to cope with stress and anger, learn anger triggers, change negative self talk to positive, improve family communication and problem solving skills. This program is provided in small group format with designated groups for adults, teens (12-18), and younger children (ages 5-11) and is great for those who have difficulty managing their anger and for those who internalize their stress and anger.
